On February 12th, 2026, the Cornell Real Estate Club welcomed Matt Gaghen and Libbie Rice from Under Canvas for a virtual presentation and Q&A session discussing the intersection of hospitality, real estate, and the outdoors. Under Canvas has grown into a nationwide luxury glamping company with 13 camp locations across the U.S. offering hundreds of safari-style canvas tents near iconic national parks and outdoor destinations.Matt and Libbie shared Under Canvas’ remarkable growth and their portfolio of scaled, upscale glamping platforms anchored in prime locations near national parks like Acadia, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and more.
