In March 2025, the Cornell Real Estate Club (CREC) traveled to New York City to meet with real estate professionals at several leading investment and development firms. During the trek, students visited Starwood Capital Group, RXR, TPG, Brookfield Properties, J.P. Morgan, and Tishman Speyer. The trip gave members the opportunity to build meaningful connections, gain real world exposure to a range of real estate investment strategies, and learn directly from industry professionals and CREC alumni shaping the future of the industry. CREC is grateful to the Center for Real Estate and Finance for its continued support in making this experience possible.

“The NYC trek was an amazing opportunity to hear from firms that specialize in the different asset classes. This semester, we were invited on multiple property tours and received an in- depth overview of the deal process for major retail and multifamily deals. It was an amazing opportunity to reconnect with alumni whom we’ve previously hosted for speaker panels and learn more about the work they are doing.”
